Pédalons pour L'ŒUVRE LÉGER - Pédalons pour L'ŒUVRE LÉGER 2018

Hitting the road for street youth

On Sunday, May 27, 2018, join us in the region of Vaudreuil for the 5th edition of Cycling for LÉGER FOUNDATION* to help street youth in Quebec and vulnerable children in Asia.

The Cycling for LÉGER FOUNDATION challenge has grown every year and gotten cyclists at all levels motivated to ride for a great cause. For the first edition in 2014, 14 cyclists raised $27,000. In 2017, over 80 cyclists took the challenge and raised $67,000 for the LÉGER FOUNDATION.

To build on this success and make this year a memorable one, our goal is to have 100 cyclists at all levels go on 50km to 150km rides to raise $80,000. We can’t wait to hit the road with you! And who knows? You may get to ride with Marc-André Coallier, our spokesperson for street youth.

No registration fees are required for participating cyclists and teams at Cycling for the LÉGER FOUNDATION. However, since this is a charitable challenge, we suggest that each participant raise a minimum amount of $500.

The money raised will help the LÉGER FOUNDATION support many innovative projects to give hope and help to homeless children in Asia and street youth across Quebec.

*Cycling for LÉGER FOUNDATION is part of the Metropolitan Challenge organized by Vélo Québec.
